Karen Huger, Monique Samuels And Robyn Dixon Are Back In The Mix For ‘RHOP’ Season 11

If there’s one thing the women of Potomac know how to do, it’s circle back to unfinished business.

Bravo has officially unveiled the cast and first trailer for Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, and while there are a few changes to the lineup, longtime viewers will recognize plenty of familiar faces. Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Dr. Wendy Osefo, Stacey Rusch and Tia Glover are all returning as full-time Housewives, alongside newcomer Courtney Ajinça. And in a move that should make longtime RHOP fans particularly curious, former Housewives Robyn Dixon and Monique Samuels are both back as friends of the cast.

The new season premieres October 11, and judging by the first look, Potomac is entering a particularly complicated chapter. There are marriages being questioned, old friendships being tested, legal battles unfolding and, of course, enough shifting alliances to keep the group firmly in one another’s business.

But before we get there, it’s worth remembering exactly where we left these women.

Season 10 was anything but quiet. The milestone season introduced several newer faces into the mix while some of Potomac’s biggest personalities navigated life-changing circumstances away from the usual Housewives drama.

Most notably, much of the season unfolded without the franchise’s self-appointed Grande Dame. Huger was incarcerated following her DUI conviction and returned home toward the end of Season 10. Her first appearance following her release came in the season’s penultimate stretch, and she later joined the reunion to speak about life after prison and offer an update on where she stood with the group.

Now, Karen is officially back.

Season 11 finds her attempting to rebuild relationships and settle into a new chapter centered on her well-being. But there may be an even bigger shift happening at home. In the trailer, Karen reveals that she and her longtime husband, Ray Huger, are planning to live separately—a significant development for a marriage viewers have watched since RHOP premiered a decade ago.

And Karen isn’t the only Housewife returning with some very real circumstances to navigate.

Wendy and her husband, Eddie Osefo, entered the Season 10 reunion facing pending legal issues after their arrests and allegations of fraud. Wendy spoke emotionally at the reunion about what the ordeal had been like for her family. Season 11 will continue to follow the couple as they face those pressures, with Bravo describing Wendy and Eddie as remaining united throughout the ordeal.

Stacey, meanwhile, is starting another chapter of her own. After a season that saw her credibility repeatedly questioned by the other women—and Monique arriving at the reunion with alleged receipts—Stacey is moving forward with Thiemo Rusch, whom she has since remarried. But judging by what Bravo is teasing, the questions surrounding her past aren’t disappearing simply because she has a new beginning.

Tia is also back after her first season as a Housewife, and her marriage will come under greater scrutiny this time around. The trailer teases trouble between Tia and husband Rob Glover, while a trip she hosts to London gives the women yet another opportunity to test just how sturdy their friendships actually are.

Then there are the OG connections.

Gizelle remains firmly planted in the center of Potomac’s social ecosystem, but she’ll be navigating grief while honoring her late father’s legacy and dealing with changes in some of her closest relationships. One of those relationships gets particularly interesting with Robyn Dixon’s return.

Robyn left the franchise after Season 8, but the original Housewife is stepping back into the circle as a friend for Season 11. And anyone who watched the earlier years of RHOP knows that you can’t really talk about Gizelle without eventually talking about Robyn. Their friendship has been one of the show’s longest-running relationships, but this season appears ready to test whether the Green-Eyed Bandits can simply pick up where they left off.

Monique’s return carries its own history.

She re-entered the Potomac universe during Season 10 as a friend, years after her explosive Season 5 departure. Now she’s sticking around for another season, bringing a connection to an era of the show that longtime fans still have plenty of opinions about.

Ashley, for her part, is settling further into life after her marriage while balancing motherhood, financial independence and new opportunities. And with all these women carrying history into the season, there still has to be room for somebody new.

Enter Courtney Ajinça. The celebrity event designer and entrepreneur may be new to Potomac, but she’s already had a few brushes with the Bravo universe, with appearances on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Married to Medicine, in addition to starring on VH1’s My Celebrity Dream Wedding. According to an EBONY exclusive, Ajinça, who is also a minister, built her career planning events for clients across sports and entertainment.

Her arrival in the DMV came through her husband, former NBA player Alexis Ajinça, who now serves as an assistant coach for the Washington Wizards. The couple shares two sons, Carter and Caysen.

Not everyone from last season will be returning. Keiarna Stewart and Angel Massie are absent from Bravo’s Season 11 cast announcement, as is Season 10 friend Jassi Rideaux.

That turnover makes Season 11 feel less like an entirely new Potomac and more like the show is reaching back into its own history to figure out what comes next. After ten seasons of friendships, fallouts, marriages, divorces and enough reads to fill several reunion binders, some of the women who helped build the franchise are back in the room with the newer personalities now shaping it.

And if the trailer is any indication, being familiar with one another certainly doesn’t mean they’ll be getting along.
